However, in April 2018, Margaret's life took a horrific turn. At the age of 98, she was found brutally murdered in her own home. The investigation revealed a deeply disturbing crime, involving sexual assault and manual strangulation. The prime suspect, a 17-year-old named Gavin Ramsey, was eventually arrested and charged with multiple counts, including aggravated murder and gross abuse of a corpse.
